Solids and Fluids

In this chapter we will examine the behaviour of different types of solids under small deformations (called strains). We will also learn about pressure changes and buoyant forces in incompressible fluids. Finally, we will derive Bernouilli's equation, which describes how pressure and flow velocity change with height inside a fluid.
